Our Story
A Haven of Serenity in the Heart of the Vaud Alps
Nestled in the historic resort of Leysin, the Central Hôtel & Spa is a family-run destination where authenticity and well-being come together in a warm and refined atmosphere.
Every detail here has been designed to offer a unique escape, whether you are travelling alone or in a group, for a rejuvenating getaway or an extended stay.
Immerse yourself in a world of absolute relaxation: the indoor pool, jacuzzi, sauna, and hammam form the heart of the spa. In 2024, the experience was enhanced with an outdoor hydro-massage pool, a panoramic sauna with mountain views, and a modern fitness area. Reserved for adults aged 16 and over, this wellness sanctuary invites you to let go and enjoy the surrounding calm.
Driven by a constant pursuit of excellence, the Central Hôtel & Spa continues its development in 2025 with the opening of a dedicated area for massages and bespoke treatments. This new stage is designed to offer a harmonious experience, unique in French-speaking Switzerland — a place where Alpine elegance meets the art of well-being.
Thus was born Hirâo Spa
Hirâo Spa — “Happy” in the Vaudois dialect
Hirâo Spa invites every guest to experience a true moment of relaxation in an authentic and welcoming atmosphere.
A Space Designed for Children
Because serenity is best shared with family, a treatment menu specially designed for younger guests has been created. After a day of skiing or sporting activities, children can enjoy gentle moments that help them regain calm and rest. Educational games by the pool complement this experience, offering moments that are both fun and enriching.
A Rejuvenating Moment for Parents
While children enjoy their own space, parents are invited to the adults-only spa area. Relaxing treatments, massages, and post-sport recovery rituals are offered with particular attention, allowing parents to restore balance and energy in a peaceful setting.
An Experience to Share with Couples and Friends
Hirâo Spa also welcomes young couples seeking tranquility and groups of friends wishing to share a unique moment. Whether in pairs or groups, each visit becomes a cherished memory, marked by relaxation and conviviality.
The Hirâo Promise
More than a spa, Hirâo is the promise of a place where the art of care is combined with the simplicity of a sincere welcome.
We aim for every guest to find their place, leave feeling peaceful, and take home the memory of happy moments.
Our treatment menu also includes a range specially designed for children, to create memorable experiences throughout their stay.
